Rise Percussion was founded in the Fall of 2012 to create more performance opportunities in the Colorado percussion community. Originally intended to be a stepping stone to bigger and better opportunities for our performers, it became clear early on that Rise was growing into something special. In 2015, we expanded to form Rise Performing Arts – a 501c3 nonprofit focused on helping performers build their skills and master their craft through elevated performance.
Rise Performing Arts currently is home to two competitive winter percussion ensembles (Rise Percussion and Rise2) and one competitive winterguard (Rise Winterguard).
